Professional Development

As an educator, I reach out to participate in unique professional opportunities that help me develop my craft.  I feel the diverse experiences fill me with great ideas, resources, and a wealth of knowledge that I then share with my students and colleagues.  I feel success when the students reach that ah ha moment and question more of their world.  For the very short time that I have been teaching I see movements, initiatives, and best practices changing.  In order to be a positive engaging teacher I need stay current and flexible to the evolving aspects of education through professional development.
